We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing mechanical systems and components. You will also work closely with other engineers and departments to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mechanical systems and components, including but not limited to: engines, machines, tools, and mechanical processes.
- Conduct research and analyze data to determine feasibility, design limitations, and potential for product optimization.
- Prepare and present technical reports, proposals, and design specifications for management, customers, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other engineers, designers, and stakeholders to ensure that project requirements are met, and that projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Test and evaluate prototypes and finished products to ensure compliance with design specifications and performance requirements.
- Participate in product design reviews, ensuring that design objectives are met, risks are identified, and that designs are optimized for manufacturability.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure that materials, components, and services are of the highest quality and delivered on time.
- Manage projects, ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget.
- Provide technical support and guidance to other departments and stakeholders as required.
- Stay up-to-date with new technologies, materials, and industry trends, and identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in a product design and development environment.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and mechanical systems design.
- Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software, such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Inventor.
- Familiarity with FEA analysis and simulation software.
- Experience with prototyping, testing, and manufacturing processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
